Last weekend, Squid Game made its comeback not in the Netflix catalog, but indeed in the French capital. Proof that the series is a real phenomenon, the registration counter exploded, reaching 50,000 candidates in the space of a few hours. Unfortunately, all these beautiful people did not have the chance to be drawn and there were only 456 to obtain their sesame for one of the largest games of 1,2,3 Soleil ever organized. Divided into three teams, the candidates outdid themselves to offer victory to their captain on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées.

For the occasion, the captains and members of their team had sharpened their reflexes to cross the finish line. It was a few steps from the Arc de Triomphe that the players warmed up, under the close surveillance of the emblematic guards of the series, masked and in red outfits. On site, there were more than 10,000 spectators to provide support to all the participants and the least we can say is that some encouragement was needed for their group to win. A privilege that belongs to the influencer Inoxtag since there are 69 players to have reached the finish line and deceive the vigilance of the immense doll.
As for the Just Riadh and Maghla teams, the participants were not unworthy since there were, respectively, 39 and 30 players to have mastered this emblematic game of the series. Also broadcast on YouTube, the event attracted a large number of curious people and was not limited to fans in the capital. During transmission, the platform recorded a peak audience of 250,000 spectators. Through this immersive competition, Netflix is offering a big spotlight on its most viewed series of both. If there were already many who set off in this race, there is no doubt that the whole world is ready to respond, in the middle of the end-of-year holidays, to the call of season 2.
