Musical festival, giant tartiflette or even a visit to a castle decorated for the holidays… Here are our five ideas for outings, one for each department, to take advantage of these two days of rest.

In (Seine-Maritime), the Big Bang festival offers shows and musical entertainment for adults and children aged 3 and over, all weekend. On the program: a horizontal film concert, a musical journey around the world or even interactive sound tables.

The festivities are organized by the Opéra Orchester Normandie Rouen in collaboration with the Zonzo company. Reservations can be made by telephone or on the opera website. Paid performances are priced at 3 euros.

This year again, the ghost train and the Booster will be there. For three weeks, the Évreux (Eure) funfair takes place at the Pré du Bel-Ébat, with several dozen attractions expected. To close the 2024 edition, some stands will offer a free ticket with the purchase of a ticket.

The event will be open until December 8 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday; Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight and Saturday from 2 p.m. to midnight.

Decors, family shows, evenings by the fire, exhibitions… The Château de Carrouges in Orne opens its doors for the Christmas holidays. Reserve your Saturday afternoon. The Tortuga collective is organizing a “Tartuflette” Saturday in Saint-Sauveur-Villages (Manche) to raise funds for the purchase of a tractor and the renovation of its eco-place. Shows will open the event, followed by concerts and a giant tartiflette from 7:30 p.m.

The activities will take place at the Louis Costel cultural center in Saint-Sauveur-Villages. Several prices are offered, ranging from 5 to 20 euros. It is advisable to reserve your place if you wish to participate in the meal.

In the Pays d’Auge, the town of Blangy-le-Château () is organizing its Christmas market on Saturday November 30 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with around thirty exhibitors. For the occasion, a small train will be specially chartered for children. They may also have the chance to meet the mysterious Santa Claus…
