It’s quite open in this maiden reserved for the younger generation but let’s still be tempted by the candidacy of Zarakchicwho held his game very well at Longchamp during his debut, despite an unenviable run. The line has repeated and the shallower ground than the last time will help him, he can open his prize list.
The threat will surely come from Jo Françaisa very well-bred colt who has left a favorable impression in the heavy Bordeaux recently. Coming from a family that progresses over time, he could already be in good condition and therefore looks formidable. On the upward slope too, CAM might fall on one or more bones but he deserves ample credit for places like Van Diemen, who knows how to finish quickly and will have his experience on his side as well as Pradoa massive colt who found himself trapped in a race without a train the other day at Chantilly. If things go better this time, a surprise on his part cannot be ruled out.
