Concert : Mwassi Moyindo ignites the IFC to the rhythm of “Nlaku”

Slammer with a soft voice and striking lyrics, Mwassi Moyindo took the audience into her world for the evening. In an urban style mixing with rumba and folklore, the slam sounded in French, Lingala, Lari. Each title interpreted transcends reality in order to raise awareness and educate the public. The repertoire of this evening was essentially made up of titles from the EP “Nlaku” such as “Reste”, “Belle”, “Naza sé wa yo” and “Ya ngo” whose video clip was broadcast exclusively during the concert . To these titles were grafted pieces praised by the public such as “Ngiena”, “Louzolo”, “Yaka”…

For this evening, Mwassi Moyindo shared the stage with other artists known to the general public such as Bioman, Sosey, Nestelia Forest, Aris and Dalie Dandala. Beyond this new generation that is emerging, the Congolese slammer shared the stage with Zao Casimir on the title “Moustique”. An intergenerational duo which marked the highlight of the evening in a friendly atmosphere. Zao Casimir wished Mwassi Moyindo every success in his career. “ It did me a lot of good to hear these words of blessing because what’s more, he’s someone I admire. Before this scene he always told me, you will go far and I hope these words come true in my life », said the concert hostess.

Judging by the enthusiasm of the audience, this concert was a success. “ I come here to the IFC often and I’m used to the shows. This evening again, it was good, the scene was dazzling. Mwassi Moyindo performed well and I really liked her texts which reenergized us, advised us and made us dance with joy and good humor », Confided Marie Nicole Tsiampassi.
