Every year, many volunteers mobilize for the Telethon has Figeac. Shows, tea dances, concerts, sports demonstrations, dance, etc.: numerous events are offered from November 29 to December 8, 2024.

Telethon meetings in Figeac

Until Friday November 29, thecompany Larnaudie Foie Gras (ZA l’Aiguille in Figeac) supports the Telethon. This week, 10% of sales made at his store are donated to the Telethon.

Saturday November 30 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Salle Balène, the singer Sabrina hosts a singing concert evening in two parts (international then 80s), participation: €5.

Sunday 1^is December from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Body Karate club offers classes and demonstrations in the Causses room of the François Mitterrand space, free participation donated to the Telethon.

Friday, December 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Figeac Nature and Orientation (FINO) organizes an “Orient’soup” at Place de la Halle. With family, colleagues, friends, or on the ground, participants (from 2 to 102 years old) are invited to take on the orientation challenge by covering as many loops in the streets of Figeac (free participation). Saturday December 7, while strolling through the market (between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.), an appointment is made with the Municipal Youth Council (CMJ) for a sale of balloons with the aim of forming the colorful chain of hope. On their stand near the hall, the volunteers will offer the sale of various products and portions of fouace, made by the bakers and pastry chefs of Figeac.

In the evening (from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.), associations of several dance and singing groups from Figeac organize a show, at the Salle de l’Europe in the Espace François Mitterrand. On the program, dance, music, singing, cheerleading, proposed by Figeac Flamenco, Crystal Cheer 46, Entre-Chats, Alhambra danse, Pascal’danses, Jazz Roots, Florence Gay et ses Voca Muses, Les Sources Bavardes. On site, crepes, Breton cider, and drinks by the glass are offered. Price: €5, free under 6 years old.

The next day, Sunday December 8, from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the François Mitterrand space (same room), the Cœur de Figeac Telethon is organizing a big tea dancehosted by Sylvie Nauges and her ensemble. Admission: €12 with a snack at 5 p.m. (free snack). Reservation required before Sunday December 8 at 05 65 34 28 11.

All activities are offered in partnership with the Figeac Lions Club.
