You may know her as Bali Dou? The singer AGNES, 24 years old, carries us away with her sweet voice and her guitar chords which make us vibrate. It is located in the wave “French folk variety”.
In a few dates, the young composer was able to performn first part of Arthur H a year ago, then Olivia Ruiz in April 2024 and this November 23, she opened the concert of Head at the Manekine in Pont-Sainte-Maxence.
We reveal the next good news for this young artist, particularly fromHe left Schneider.
The 24-year-old singer from Picardy changed her artist name during the summer of 2024. Ex Bali Dou, she chose to keep her first name as her stage name: AGNES.

AGNES grew up in Senlis, in the Oise, and studied in Amiens. She has just recently moved to Lille. His change of artist name and place of residence reflects an important stage in his life as an artist. You only have to listen to him sing to realize it.
There are around fifteen of us who set up the filming. Les Hauts en Scènes at France 3 Lille: preparation, set-up, casting, filming. Sound technicians, lighting technicians, image directors, videos, scriptwriters: the excitement is always at its peak when we receive the artists in our rehearsal studio.
We want them to feel at home, to give us the best of their music.
AGNES is the guest of the live session “Les Hauts en Scènes”. Light and camera settings so that everything is perfect.

And in this month of November, for AGNES’s visit, there is the same agitation, the same excitement as usual. But suddenly there was light. The song was. The delicate melodies of the guitar rose into the studio with an immediate “decompression” effect!

Six guitar-voice tracks written, composed and performed by the young AGNES in the France 3 Lille studios for the show “Les Hauts en Scènes”. A concert that relaxes, as we are carried away by the softness and crystalline notes of this artist.

AGNES reveals her repertoire to us.
If the first title The woman we forget resembles an ode to femininity which is inexorably fading, we discover with the song in second position – A thug’s deal – a love story, a story between two, lost or perhaps found: “Its time has passed – In the end nothing has changed – I think of you like an unfinished love“.
In third position, On the roofs our dreams will dance takes us into a sort of escape of the mind with always pretty and light melodies that make us soar.
Then Sang trouble troubles us: this song is melancholy but at the same time quite scintillating with the rising voices of our young singer. The accuracy of his singing is almost hypnotizing. AGNES describes a waltz between two beings.
We will remember the tenderness that emanates from title five Maddy : “A title that I wrote not that long ago“, tells us the musician.“
As we grow up, we abandon our childish soul, and I find that a shame […] When everything falls in front of us, the child goes to see the beauty, goes to see the flower. I wanted to recreate this imaginary, childish landscape. “Maddy” is everyone’s child, the child we were.

And finally, the live ends with The shadows of yesterday written with great sensitivity, in a period of sadness for the artist. A sadness that she has tamed, without a doubt: “I was in a relationship with this sadness, I told myself I was going to dance with her“. And now we too are dancing with a lot of emotion.
When we ask AGNES three words to define her music, she answers:
- minimalist
- melancholy
- contemplative
And we tend to agree with these characteristics.
By minimalist, we understand that she wants to be as simple and sincere as possible. We note the sobriety of his guitar-voice, without embellishment of any kind, in search of a certain purity.
Its recent name change also goes in this direction: “I felt like I had to play a role behind Bali Dou. It was a name I came up with like that. I prefer to be called AGNES, that way, well that’s me! ” explains the young singer who therefore chose to keep her real first name.
The artist no longer hides and is completely revealed. A new start in continuity, therefore, with the writing of new titles and clips in preparation. The last one was from a year ago with the title Maddy.
We can’t wait to discover these new projects. AGNES told us that four clips are taking shape, including two live sessions.
