Jenifer is back in business! The first winner of the Star Academy takes stock of her first 10 years of career in
an album titled Jukebox – 2002 2012.
“I immersed myself in great memories, in my entire repertoire from 2002 until 2012, I sang a lot of songs again”she explains in an interview with France Bleu.
The singer continues on the microphone of our colleagues:
“There were a lot of emotions in the studio with the musicians. It gives me a special emotion. […] Immersing myself in texts that resonated with me was a time, it was special, especially for J'attends l'amour”. After the public service, the interpreterIn the sun continued its tour on TNT.
Daily: this columnist does not know Jenifer's classics
This Friday, November 22, Jenifer promoted her new album on the set of Quotidien. Yann Barthès, teasingly, asked his guest if she authorized Ambre Chalumeau to sing In the sun at his side. “Oh no”the embarrassed columnist immediately replied before going on stage. And to warn the host:
“I told you that I don't know the lyrics
and it’s true, I’m sorry.”
The show's culture journalist actually had a hard time singing the ex-Academician's most famous hit a cappella. Jenifer then firmly reframed it:
“I'm going to invite you to my jukebox, so I say,
will have to revise!“. Yann Barthès then came to the aid of the culture journalist: “We're kind of the only ones who don't know this song by heart“. The singer ended up admitting that lots of people
“don’t know her.”
Daily: this question from Yann Barthès stunned Jenifer
A few days before going to TMC, Jenifer did a detour to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. “You visited the candidates. Aren’t you tired of it?”asked Yann Barthès last night, certain that the singer had returned several times to the famous residence.
“But I didn’t go back to the castle!”corrected the forty-year-old, stunned. “Oh? But yes, you went there!”insisted the host. Jenifer then clarified in return: “It was at least 20 years since I went there. I went to visit the Star Ac 4 when there was Grégory Lemarchal and I never went back there again.”
