Kofi Kingston Speaks Out About Odyssey Jones’ Departure From WWE

Odyssey Jones made his return to WWE on the August 5 episode of WWE RAW and teamed up with the New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). He was involved in the ongoing storyline between Kingston and Woods, but was removed from WWE’s roster after WWE became aware of domestic violence allegations.

In an interview with the New York Post, Kofi Kingston commented on Odyssey Jones’ retirement from WWE.

He declares:

“One of the biggest lessons I learned is that you never know what tomorrow will bring in WWE. You must always be ready to adapt at any time. There were times when we knew what was going to happen on Monday Night RAW weeks before and worked towards it. Then we would arrive in the same day and all of a sudden we were doing the exact opposite. It’s your ability to adapt and roll with the punches that pulls you up. Nothing ever goes as planned. All of this is to say that once Odyssey was eliminated, we had to find a way to pivot and continue the story and move forward, because, as they say, the show must go on. We have to find the best ways to adapt. »

The New Day will face Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) on the November 25 episode of RAW. Will the tension between the duo fade away or on the contrary intensify?
