Sofilm magazine supports film or series projects. On the occasion of the second edition of the series support program, the two winners were announced. This year, a recently accompanied film was nominated for a César.

After setting up a program to support the writing of genre films, the Sofilm Residences have also launched support for series projects since last year.

The hundred original scripts chosen at the start had to address themes responding to contemporary issues. Only six first drafts of screenwriters were selected following a first selection. A working session to support these authors was then organized in Nantes in the spring, with the support of specialists in the series: from writing, to music, including special effects.

A former César winner

After a presentation of the latter during the Sofilm festival last week, two winners were announced. Boys Club by Gabrielle Giloux and Marie-Charlotte Amblard, as well as Humanitarian by Tristan Aurouet.
let’s remember that Vincent must diea fantastic film directed by Stéphan Castang, also supported by Sofilm, was nominated in the Best First Film category at the César this year.
