Captain of the French handball team and bronze medalist at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, Jackson Richardson, 55, was a double world champion in 1995 and 2001.
He was standard bearer for the French delegation at the Athens Olympics in 2004. He was also elected best handball player in the world in 1995. For three years, from 2015 to 2018, he was coach of the team of Dijon Métropole Handball then coach of the Gabon national team between 2017 and 2018.

Present at the Égaluantes
For the Égaluantes, he will be present alongside Clément Brun to present Handball, a family affairthe great saga of the blues, a series which will be broadcast on Canal Plus. The first two episodes will be broadcast on Sunday November 24, 2024, at 4:15 p.m., at the theater in Carentan-les-Marais (Manche).

On Saturday, Jackson Richardson will be present at the handball club where he will kick off several matches including that of the senior boys at Jean-Truffaut at 7:30 p.m. On this occasion, we will offer meetings and activities for all handball fans, discussions with the players. There will be a photo session and signings, small tournaments with young players, etc.
