Two weeks after undergoing a breast reduction, the singer Coeur de Pirate spoke to her audience in a five-minute video posted on TikTok.

“It was super important to me, I’m really happy I did it. My life has now changed forever.”
She confides that before the procedure, she felt “incredibly uncomfortable” in her body. She adds that the surgery was vital for her well-being and mental health.
She then addresses, with humor, the things that are now easier for her since the operation: breathing, running, jumping.
She says her balance is better and it is now easier for her to sing.
However, she admitted that the recovery from the operation was difficult, both emotionally and physically.
“The pros really outweigh the cons.”
She concludes by saying that she would not go back.
