Scott Gorham plans to put together a great band again for a Thin Lizzy European tour.
A desire to return to the stage
Scott Gorham, legendary guitarist of Thin Lizzy and ex-member of Black Star Riders, has expressed his wish to re-form an “absolutely incredible band” for a future European tour dedicated to the Thin Lizzy repertoire.
In a recent interview with Neil Jones of TotalRockGorham shared his unwavering attachment to the band’s music: “I think I will always be in love with this music, just because we were all so involved in its creation, from writing to recording to rehearsing.”
Although no concrete project is yet in progress, the guitarist says he is ready to return to the stage as soon as the opportunity arises: “Hopefully I can announce something in the near future and get back playing.”

Thin Lizzy: a timeless musical heritage
Since joining Thin Lizzy in 1974, Scott Gorham has helped write some of the most memorable pages in rock history. With albums like Jailbreak, Johnny The Fox et Live And Dangerousthe band gave the world timeless classics such as The Boys Are Back In Town et Dancing In The Moonlight.
Gorham also discussed musicians’ continued interest in Thin Lizzy: “There are so many incredible musicians who would love to be a part of this band. For them to get up on stage and play these songs is a dream come true.”
Choosing the right musicians for a Thin Lizzy tour is a key priority for Gorham, who wants to preserve the band’s chemistry and legacy: “Choosing the right people for a Thin Lizzy tour is more complicated than it seems. You have to find the right chemistry.”
