Shakespeare’s ghosts © Jean-Jean Films
At the Théo Argence center, the Lyon company Thespis offers with its new creation, Shakespeare’s ghosts (November 19 and 20), a disconcerting journey into the 1930s, inspired by Romeo and Juliet. Pierre Richard will come at the beginning of December to present a single on stage.
No stage or seats, but a disturbing and immersive atmosphere, lit by a bluish light and covered in smoke. The principle: each spectator, wearing a Venetian mask, can create their own journey with free movement within the theater.
A few days later, on December 3, on this same plateau, Pierre Richard, 89 years old, will come to affirm irrefutably and definitively that he is not this eternally distracted and clumsy person in life. Through the sole performance of this exceptional actor, I’m here but I’m not therewe dive back into his incredible journey, star of comic cinema, starring in films that have become cult: The Tall Blond with a black shoe, The shallot race, The Goat, The Fugitives…Or more recently in Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom by Guillaume Canet or Jeanne du Barry by Maïwenn.
