Since 2016, the pianists Vittorio Forte lives near Montpellier. Considered one of the leading pianists of the new Italian pianistic school, nicknamed the “poet of the piano”, his repertoire extends from Bach to Gershwin. Considered and unanimously praised by critics in France and abroad, several of his works have received international prizes.
Technique and emotion
“Disc after disk, concert after concert, Vittorio Forte offers technical perfection ally to extreme emotion which passes through the fingertips, a sensitivity which diffuses through its fine and delicate touch not free from splinters”, we can read on the France Musique website.
