The images have been making the rounds on social networks for several days. On the evening of Wednesday November 13, 2024, a violent fight broke out in front of the Hôtel du Collectionneura chic establishment in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. According to the media TMZthe teams of rappers Gazo and Offset would be involved.
Several injured
The numerous images filmed and broadcast on the networks made it possible to trace the origins of this violent confrontation. We can see the American rapper Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, getting into a car before quickly getting out after being attacked by a member of the team of the French rapper, Gazo.
After several heated verbal exchanges, Offset is hitwhich leads to a response from his teams. Despite the intervention of security, the tension between the two groups does not weaken. Fighting scenes continue to break out, before the situation eventually calms down. Several people are injured. According to TMZmembers of Gazo’s team would also have thrown out « Paris is fini for you » to the former Migos band member. Sayings of “I’m going to shoot you” were also heard.
Gazo was absent at the time of this fight.
Offset’s “laziness” at the origin of the violent altercation
But then, how can we explain this outburst of violence? According to our American colleagues, Gazo’s teams would not have appreciated a delay from Offset, while the two rappers must collaborate on the title “Wemby” (inspired by Victor Wembanyama, the former player of the Mets 92) which must appear in his new album “Apocalypse”. For this duet, the rapper would have offered 150 000 dollars to its American counterpart.
But Offset’s “laziness” would have annoyed Gazo’s teams who would have demanded reimbursement of the sum.
After this violent evening, neither of the two men spoke to give their version of the facts. Gazo presented his new album on stage in Lille this Friday evening.
