Marc Antoine Jamet: We saw that there was a very special link between the most beautiful avenue in the world and the biggest competition in the world. This link is Tony Estanguet. It’s a message of thanks that we give him. There were more people on the Champs-Elysées, there will be more in 2025, we are certain of it. It is also a message of recognition because he magnified us, he transformed us, he put us at the heart of current events, he made us beautiful, he reconciled with the provinces and Paris with the Champs -Elysées. Tony Estanguet is a joy, it’s a blessing.

Marc Antoine Jamet: I think we had a little exhausted the joys of the hand that falls heavily on the buzzer. To ensure that it can be a real celebration, a moment of joy, of sharing, of memories, of photos, that’s what we want to do. We asked Santa who had an absolutely extraordinary performance for the closing of the Paralympic Games, singing Johnny Hallyday in the rain and giving the impression that the sun was there. We also asked the Band’a Leo which is a Landes and band, they are mixed, there are 70 of them, they set fires everywhere. We asked Marine Neuilly, who is a fantastic DJ, to come. There must be a show before, a show during and a show after.

Marc Antoine Jamet: We see that the “Illuminations of the Champs-Elysées”, a bit like the fireworks in Sydney on January 1st, is information that is reported in China, in Latin America, on the web , on televisions, on radios and therefore, we want to speak to the whole world. We want to be simple, we want to be direct, we want to be understandable and accessible. We think that with Santa, Tony Estanguet, Band’A Leo, Marine Neuilly and the Little Princes, it can be an extraordinary moment of sharing. The avenue needs to be more united, for it to be the most beautiful avenue in the world is good, for it to be the most open and pleasant is not bad either.

See you on November 24 to attend the Illuminations of the Champs-Elysées and enjoy the party all night long.
