Appearance at the Grammy Awards, documentary event, rumors of participation in the Paris Olympic Games… After four years of absence, would Céline Dion orchestrate her comeback?

In I am: Celine Dion, which will be released on June 25 on the Amazon platform, Prime Video, the star in any case expresses his desire to get back on stage: despite his illness: stiff man syndrome (SPR). “I’m going to get back on stage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will. I will”assures the 56-year-old singer.

A “comeback”, so hoped for by its millions of fans around the world, but which could well wait a little longer, according to Laurence Piau, journalist and author of “Celine Dion – The True Story” (Robert Laffont). “I think she really wants to come and sing at the Paris Olympics”she says. She loves athletes. Nadia Comăneci (editor’s note: Romanian gymnast and Olympic champion), has been her absolute idol since she was little. (…) She sang in Atlanta for the 100th anniversary of the Games in 1996, so she really wants to come,” recalls Laurence Piau.

“The desire is there, but I think it’s not her who will decide”, but the disease, still believes this great specialist in the singer. “When she appears at the Grammys and then we see her appearing in hockey games, when we see her singing backstage, we say to ourselves ‘that’s it’… But in fact she must arrive at the Metropolitan Museum from New York at the beginning of May, everything was planned for her to be at the gala and the day before she canceled because she had a seizure”…

“All his life, it’s going to be like this”, said the journalist. “So this documentary is perhaps also a way of saying to fans: ‘If I cancel again don’t blame me…. You know why'”…
