For the first time, Japan Otaku Fantasy Martigny is coming to our beautiful canton of Valais. This is a convention focused on Japanese culture, pop culture, manga and the geek universe in general.
Taking place at the CERM in Martigny during the weekend of December 7 and 8, 2024, the Japan Otaku Fantasy Martigny will offer a plethora of activities, but also guests.
Hiroki Takahashi
First of all, it will be singer Hiroki Takahashi who will honor us with his presence. If this name sounds familiar, that’s okay. This is the singer from the opening of Dragon Ball “Makafushigi Adventure”.
In addition to a concert, Mr. Takahashi will hold a free book signing session.
StarrySky
The rock group StarrySky will also be present at Japan Otaku Fantasy Martigny. This is a Swiss group that has been strongly influenced by Asian music and anime theme songs. It will also be possible to meet the group in addition to their concert.
Voice actors
Fans of Japanese anime will not be left out; three voice actors will be present to talk about their profession.
Here are the three actors present:
- Emmanuel Karsen (Kizaru in One Piece or Ginyu in Dragon Ball Kai)
- Arthur Pestel (Edward Elric de Full Metal Alchemist)
- Enzo Ratsito (Tanjirō Kamado in Demon Slayer: The Infinity Train)
- Yoann Sleeps (Yuri Briar in SPY×FAMILY and Sakuya in Bucchigire!)
Other activities
Of course, other activities are planned such as:
- Japanese calligraphy, digital drawing and figurine painting workshops and Japanese cuisine
- Introductory course in Japanese martial arts

Practical advice
The Japan Otaku Fantasy Martigny will take place in Martigny during the weekend of December 7 and 8 at the CERM in Martigny at Rue du Levant 91. This is the place where La Foire du Valais takes place.
Entrance will be free for children under 6 and over 65. Additionally, entry will also be free for cosplayers.
