This is a very different Franck Dubosc from the one we know. Starring in the film “Prodigieuses”, the French actor has swapped his humor and jokes for a cinema of another genre. Far from Patrick Chirac in “Camping” or Assurancetourix in “Asterix at the Olympic Games”, his new role of Serge Vallois, a demanding, tyrannical and ambitious father, metamorphoses him. He who recently moved to the other side of the camera with his productions “Un ours dans le jura”, “Rumba la vie” and “Everybody standing”, had already proven his desire to change register.
A week before the release of “Prodigieuses” in theaters, Franck Dubosc joined his on-screen partner, Isabelle Carré, who plays his wife Jeanne. The actors promoted the French drama during a preview at the Pathé Convention cinema in Paris on November 12. Satin suit jacket, jeans and slightly open black shirt, Franck Dubosc has rediscovered his joie de vivre for some rather amusing poses. After growing his mustache for filming, as he did in “Rumba la vie”, the 61-year-old comedian abandoned it to regain his usual look.

At his side, Isabelle Carré brought out her biggest smile, for a complicit moment with her fictional companion. As flirtatious as ever, the 53-year-old actress highlighted her beautiful red hair and opted for refined makeup. After winning several trophies with her latest feature film “And more if affinities”, released last April, the Parisian writer was not absent from the screens for long.

Reunion between “twins” for Camille Razat and Mélanie Robert
After reuniting with his wife Danièle, Franck Dubosc joined his two film partners, Camille Razat and Mélanie Robert on the red carpet. The young women play twins, Audrey and Diane, two talented pianists who were victims of an orphan disease affecting their hands. In addition to having a strong physical resemblance, the two actresses are both from the same city, Toulouse. Even more, they have been best friends since high school and even lived together.
The rest of the cast, made up of Lola Aubriere, August Wittgenstein and directors Frédéric and Valentin Potier were also present. The story is one of the very first creations of the father-son duo, which was directly inspired by the lives of sisters Audrey and Diane Pleynet. The latter also posed in front of the photographers with the actors.
