(Keystone-ATS) Camilla, aged 77 and crowned in May 2023, is due to attend a reception in the afternoon with the finalists for the prestigious Booker Prize literary prize. But this fervent reader will be there for a shorter period than initially planned.
This will be Camilla’s first public outing since returning from Australia and the Samoa Islands two and a half weeks ago, where she visited with Charles III.
On Wednesday afternoon, she will participate in an event honoring the television and film industry, but again, she will not stay for the entire ceremony.
Camilla skipped attending the Gladiator II premiere in Leicester Square, where she was scheduled to meet actor Paul Mescal and director Ridley Scott. Camilla also did not participate last weekend in the military commemorations planned in London.
Princess Kate, wife of Prince William, was present at the commemorations. She announced in September the end of her chemotherapy, paving the way for a gradual resumption of her public commitments.
