Charles Lafortune and Pixcom have developed Atypical reviewsa brand new series featuring autistic people and chefs. “In each episode, four autistic people will go to a large restaurant, where they will be served a three-course meal which they will have to judge. The show’s pilot involved Martin Picard and his restaurant Au Pied de Cochon, and we started filming, among other places, at the restaurant Le Mousso. It leads to very funny situations.” Atypical reviews will first be broadcast on AMI-télé. Banijay, the production company behind major international hits such as MasterChefis interested in this Quebec concept. “After the documentary series devoted to autism, I wanted to continue to deal with this reality, but by moving towards something more comical and light. We have already started selling the concept internationally and we have signed an agreement with Banijay.”
