The particularity of this twelfth season of the Star Academy is the chance to win weekly immunity for students ranked in the top 3 of the evaluations. After Marine and Maureen, it was the duo Masséo and Emma who won immunity thanks to their rendition of “Stay” by Rihanna. During this week’s evaluations, the theme of which is “personal stories”, Masséo touched the teachers by evoking his many sacrifices to evolve in the world of music. Marguerite also moved Clara Luciani and Hugues Hamelynck by performing “Funny Era” and sharing the painful moments of her life, notably a toxic relationship which had prevented her from being herself. Although Maureen moved the godmother by talking about her difficult experience, her singing performance disappointed the teachers. Michael Goldman found the interpretation incomplete and Sofia Morgavi regretted an excess of emotion. At the end of the evaluations, Maureen, Ulysses and Noah have been named and will have to fight for their place in the adventure.
Franck once again dazzles his teachers during evaluations
From the first days, Franck quickly stood out as one of the promising students of this promotion. His powerful voice and his stage presence earned him the encouragement of his teachers, although he had to work on the accuracy and control of his emotions. From the first weeks, he stood out during bonuses and in evaluations thanks to his ability to perform with intensity. This Tuesday, November 5, the student once again convinced his teachers by performing “Et bam!”. “I didn’t write anything…”admits Michael Goldman. “Frank strikes again. I don’t really know what to say. He defends the texts, he defends each word with such accuracy, such taste. Thanks, there you go.” A vision shared by Clara Luciani : “I don’t even know what to say because it was quite perfect. Even his style, it’s already part of his artistic vision. I have the impression that he already has a step towards the future, towards what ‘he will propose later. He’s ready Frank!” Likewise, Sofia Morgavi, the singing teacher, is full of praise for him: “He offers us his performance as a gift. He gives us to see, to hear, and we receive a lot. It’s very successful!“
A first lady invites herself to the Star Academy castle
For the bonus on Friday, November 8, students will have the opportunity to share the stage with prestigious artists: Philippe Katerine, Thomas Dutronc, the singer and sportsman Lucky Love, as well as Vitaa, godmother of the previous season. This bonus is brought forward to Friday to allow TF1 to broadcast the France-Japan rugby match on Saturday evening. In the meantime, the students, who only have a few days left to prepare their performances on stage, have been stopped in their tracks. And for good reason, they were treated to a prestigious surprise for their first masterclass: the visit of Brigitte Macron which left them completely speechless.
