Quentin R., also known as “Kentin”, during his appearance on the reality show “Anges”, in 2019, was arrested and taken into police custody.

This Monday, November 4, a former candidate for a reality TV show was arrested by the police at his home in Sainte-Geneviève-des-, in Essonne, for acts of pimping. An arrest which may have taken place after an anonymous report to investigators from the Organized Crime Division (DCT) of Essonne.

According to Le Parisien, it would be Quentin R., who became known in the show “Anges” on NRJ 12, under the name “Kentin”. The latter was placed in custody with a 29-year-old Brazilian woman who is also involved in this case.

They attracted women from South America

In detail, the two suspects are accused of having lured women from South America and then delivered them into prostitution in apartments that were rented on the Booking or Airbnb sites.

The DCT’s investigations revealed that the two protagonists “managed” around twenty advertisements for prostitution on the Sexemodel site and that he kept half of the earnings that the prostitutes could generate. Facts which were confirmed by the bank statements of Quentin R and the Brazilian woman.

The former “Angels” candidate was wiretapped

To gather more evidence, the former reality TV candidate was placed under surveillance by investigators. The latter were able to intercept a call during which a man asked “how many Brazilian women he had available with a residence permit”to which the suspect replied: “A dozen” and that he “had to find out about visas”.

Finally, Quentin R and the young woman were arrested as part of a preliminary investigation opened by the prosecution. “The investigation is ongoing and police custody can last for 96 hours”the prosecutor clarified to our colleagues who specified that the two individuals are already known to the courts.
