Emotion sequence. Saturday November 2, Juliette Binoche was in Greece, at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, with Ralph Fiennes to present “The Return”, by Uberto Pasolini. For the screening, she opted for a simple but elegant look: a pantsuit, her blazer subtly revealing her underwear. The day before, Friday November 1st, it was in a black trench coat worn as a dress that the French actress with her always sharp style arrived at the festival to receive, with the British actor, the Golden Alexander prize for their various collaborations.
This is in fact not the first time that Juliette Binoche and Ralph Fiennes have played opposite each other. The first time was in 1992, in Wuthering Heights, by Peter Kominsky. They then met again in 1996 for “The English Patient”, by Anthony Minghella. The film won nine Oscars in 1997, including best film and best supporting actress for the French actress. And it was “destiny” that brought them together again 28 years later, assured Juliette Binoche with emotion.
