Madeleine Péreira, author of “Borboleta”, will dedicate her comic strip at the Parenthese bookstore in Saint-Céré on Saturday November 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The heroine of “Borboleta” is a young girl who questions her Portuguese origins and her family’s exile in France during the dark years of the Salazar dictatorship, an era which ended fifty years ago this year 2024.
His drawings take us from Portugal in the 70s to today’s Lisbon via Argenteuil where his family arrived.
