Last Wednesday, a little-known singer named Loomis could have benefited from a great showcase to increase her notoriety in a positive way.

But that’s not what happened.
She increased her notoriety, yes, but not in a super positive way.
Let’s go back to the events.
Loomis was invited to perform the US national anthem during the presidential debate Free & Equalwhich pitted three candidates from third parties against each other in the election on November 5.
Thus, candidates Chase Oliver (Libertarian Party), Dr. Jill Stein (Green Party) and Randall Terry (Constitution Party) were all present when Loomis began his acapella version of the Star-Spangled Banner.
Unfortunately for her, her voice cracked after a few seconds, causing her to lose her concentration.
«I f**ked it up, I f**ked it up, can I go back please?», s’est aussitôt exclamée l’artiste, fort perturbée.
“You can’t. We’re live,” a member of the production team replied flatly.
Loomis then tried to pick up where she left off, but thought it appropriate to add a line mentioning “I was too nervous” in the patriotic anthem.
She was nevertheless able to complete her performance and leave the stage with dignity.

On social networks, several Internet users did not hesitate to describe his performance as “the worst interpretation of the American national anthem of all time”, which is perhaps an exaggeration given this abomination and these fifteen (15 !) massacres.
Loomis also took a moment to apologize for his chaotic performance.
“I was a little late and I didn’t have a clear direction, which left me perplexed when we went live! I know it wasn’t my best, and I’m really sorry if it didn’t hit the mark. I take full responsibility and ask you not to use this incident to think about the artist I am and try to be,” she wrote on Instagram.
