The “Fiesta brava” bullfighting club is organizing two days this weekend where the two regional bullfights will be in the spotlight. With a Camargue race on Saturday November 2 in Vergèze and a camp fiesta the next day in Codognan.

The “Fiesta brava” bullfighting club is organizing two bullfighting days for the All Saints’ Day weekend at the Vergèze and Codognan arenas.

Saturday, November 2, a Camargue race is offered in Vergèze (3 p.m., 10 euros) with bulls from the Blatière-Bessac herds (Josué, Jappeloup, Aragon), Cuillé (Tapoquin and Uxelo) and Nicollin (Galopin and Islero). The bulls will be raced by P.Laurier, I.Oukharti, E. de Andrade, J.Martin, T.Charrade and E.Bernard.

The next day, aficionados can head towards Cadognan where a fiesta campera will be organized in the arenas. In the morning (10 a.m.), El Rafi will face a toro from La Veronique and two cows from Piedras Rojas owned by Patrick Laugier. After a meal and an aperitif, the matadors Carlos Olsina and El Rafi and the novillero Niño Julian will be at the paseo facing the braves of Piedras Rojas and Roland Durand.
