Discover the Texas Days program for this Thursday, May 30.

The Texas Days in Agen are now well underway after the breathtaking day of Wednesday May 29. Punctuated by the country atmosphere, the presence of the sheriff’s car, the parade of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the superb concert mixing organ and piano, it ended with the presentation of the film “The Pupil” at Montreurs d’Images .

The famous sheriff’s car was on Boulevard de la République.

Program of the day

The events of this Thursday, May 30 will begin more gently with a time of exchange at the University of Pin d’Agen. This will be an opportunity for undergraduate students in Foreign Languages, Literature and Civilization (LLCE), as well as those in law or Economic and Social Administration (AES), to learn more about the United States, their culture, and more particularly about Texas and the city of Corpus Christi. This presentation will be presented by Susane Horn, lecturer and committee member at Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi, the local public university, and Val Harbolovic, professional author teaching courses on short story writing.

The evening will end with a Big Band concert, an orchestral jazz and swing group from the 60s, at 8 p.m., at the Espace Tannerie in Agen.
