The traditional intercultural festival of the town of Aussillon, “Reflets et Rythmes” will take place this year, on Saturday June 29, around the castle of La Falgalarié. A festive event which brings together every year on the theme of world cuisines. For the occasion, he was inspired by current events with an appropriate title “The Flavor Olympics 2024”.

The program will begin at 3 p.m. with entertainment for children. They will continue with numerous musical appearances: banda, but also Wop So, a fiery trio forming a West Indian steel band. His musical repertoire, from the island of Trinidad and the West Indies, is produced by two steel drummers, tuned metal percussion, and a percussionist. He uses instruments made from recycled materials. Around 8 p.m., Occitan dances will take over, followed by Tahitian dances and Break dance. The return of Wop So will precede, around 9:45 p.m., the Flamenco and Turkish dances. At 10:15 p.m., the great De Michel orchestra will take the stage. In the meantime, it will be a question of honoring the catering section and the different and numerous kitchen stands from everywhere opened by the various communities.

The Aussillon seniors club announces a lottery. It will take place on Thursday, June 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room with 10 games of quines and 2 full boxes. Numerous prizes will be offered including garnished baskets and hams. Everything will be followed by a good snack open to all, come in large numbers.
