Here is Maxime, the “champion” of Ingrid’s chip shop, in Gembloux: could you eat so many slices of meat?

The second season of “La Meilleure Friterie” is back with its share of surprises and unique flavors. The Gembloux chip shop attracts all the attention with its XXL 12-meat burger which is causing a sensation. Ingrid, the manager, does not hesitate to launch a culinary challenge at the Fan Bus: beat this record with an even bigger burger.

This week, the jury and the Fan Bus of “La Meilleure Friterie” are stopping in the province of Namur, in Gembloux and Saint-Servais. Ingrid, the manager of the Top Frites chip shop, hopes to stand out thanks to her beef fat fries, thirteen millimeters thick, which hide a melting heart of mash. “When you cut your fry, there is still some good mash in it. It’s not the little dry matchstick fry”she explains.

With its burger that can reach an excessive size and its generous fries, the Gembloux chip shop is ready to do anything to impress the jury and gain access to the final.

The Top Frites chip shop in Gembloux has made a name for itself with its XXL burger, a real gastronomic spectacle where meat is in the spotlight.

Ingrid, the manager, remembers customers who pushed the limits of indulgence: “One day, I had students from the University of Namur who came and they had a burger with five or six meats. Then, I saw other students, from Gembloux and Louvain-la-Neuve , come and take up the challenge Maxime, our record holder, managed to reach twelve meats!.

Last night, on the show, Ingrid launched a new challenge: “I challenge the Fan Bus to beat Maxime’s record. We have to go to thirteen meats. I’ll be waiting for you in the kitchen!”she announces enthusiastically. An invitation that burger lovers did not fail to take up.

But who from the Fan Bus managed to take up the challenge? Go to RTL play to find out.

“La Meilleure Friterie” season 2 is every Thursday at 7:50 p.m. on RTL tvi, and streaming on RTL play.
