The international events of Basel in Basel, the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Lauberhorn Races, the Omega European Masters in Crans-Montana, the Locarno Film Festival, the Lucerne Festival, the Weltklasse Zürich, the Spengler Cup Davos and White Turf St-Moritz are among the events presented. These events reach far beyond the country’s borders and make Switzerland known throughout the world as a travel destination.

Reason why Switzerland Tourism (ST) and the association “Swiss Top Events» (STE) are launching together a new series of podcasts which offer a surprising look at Switzerland as a holiday and travel destination. The first three episodes of the new series “Views from the Top» are available to listen to, worldwide, starting today.

“Our different communities are scattered across the four corners of the world and the influence of our events is almost without borders,” underline Raphaël Brunschwig and Christoph Joho, co-presidents of STE. The new episodes of the podcast invite you to take a behind-the-scenes audio tour of these major events and create a strong emotional connection with listeners through exciting storytelling. André Hefti, Marketing Director of ST, explains the added value for tourism promotion: “Our goal is to use inspiring stories to drive travel among discerning and affluent target groups who already have an affinity for Switzerland .”

Jack Boswell plays host
Award-winning British podcaster Jack Boswell, known for his travel and events content, will host the “Views from the top” series. Each episode is dedicated to one of the events and highlights lesser known, inspiring and entertaining aspects. Boswell talks to the people behind the different events and shows what makes them globally successful. The first three episodes revolve around the Locarno Film Festival, the Weltklasse Zürich and the Lucerne Festival. “I’m really looking forward to the launch. Our listeners can expect exciting personalities, surprising stories and unconventional ideas – it will be captivating! »
