What a joy to hear the most famous music from legendary films, the Saint-Éloi harmony returns with a new show.

This year, for the Saint-Éloi harmony gala, everything is new, the pieces played which have been rehearsed for three months under the leadership of a new conductor Jean Coutal in order to offer the inhabitants of the town and to all music lovers a superb unforgettable concert which will take place this Saturday June 1st at the Albaret hall from 8:30 p.m.

The doors will be open from 8 p.m. and entry is free, without a ticket office with free participation. This year, the band will offer an enchanting show lasting more than 2 hours based on film music and magic. Music from the greatest films like “Le gendarme de Saint-Tropez”, “Rocky”, “La Strada”, themes from James Bond, Ennio Morricone and many others. The songs will be interspersed with a performance by magician Herbay Montana and Dommy. Famous magician from Puy-en-Velay, Herbay received his first briefcase when he was only 8 years old and it was designed by Dominique Webb, the star magician of the time. Herbay will practice, handle the different accessories and dissect the tricks. For 34 years, he has been performing on European stages with his burlesque magic and very skillful pickpocket acts. In 2008, in Lyon, Herbay won the first prize for comic magic. The Harmonie Saint-Éloi concert will be conducted by Jean Coutal assisted on certain pieces by Robert Villeneuve. This musical ensemble born in 1853 in the heart of the Saut du Sabo forges was essentially made up of employees and workers of the blast furnace company of the Saut du Tarn forges and steelworks. The first gala was given in 1990 in addition to the concerts and since then this gala has become the highlight of the Saint-Juéry events.

This gala allows musicians to fully express themselves in full training. The musicians rehearse during the week at the station hall. They will take over the large hall of the Albret which has for many years hosted the gala of this orchestra with around forty very talented instrumentalists.
