The Good Eating Festival this weekend in Toulouse

Starting this Friday, May 24, the Grand Rond garden will host the Good Eating Festival. For three days, Toulouse residents will find a wide choice of activities and entertainment to satisfy their appetite for knowledge and culinary pleasure. For the occasion, local farmers come together to highlight the quality of products, support for local production and balanced diet.
During this event, you will be able to participate in numerous activities. For example, fun and educational workshops on food chemistry, reading labels, food preservation and many other subjects. Young and old will also have the opportunity to do an escape game, “The forgotten people in the fridge”, in order to raise awareness about food waste. And much more…

A weekend in space at MEETT in Toulouse

A new festival debuts in Toulouse this weekend. Head to MEETT in Aussonne for the Toulouse Space Festival in Occitanie. Space enthusiasts, immerse yourself in the captivating world of space exploration. You will thus have the opportunity to meet major industrialists such as Airbus Defense & Space, CNES and Thales Alenia Space, as well as renowned experts like astronaut Philippe Perrin. This weekend is also an opportunity to discover space professions during the Careers Forum and to interact with students and professionals in the sector.
Take part in interactive workshops and fun activities, such as 3D space simulations, thrill rides and escape games. If you’re passionate about the space industry, you can explore its recent advances through exhibits on the solar system, rockets and nano-satellites. Finally, attend screenings of space films, including “Interstellar” and “Alone on Mars,” and stargaze during special astronomical observation evenings.

Top start for the “The game invades Toulouse” festival

Top start this Saturday for two weeks of board games in the Pink City. Toulouse Town Hall is organizing the 7e edition of its festival “Le Jeu invades Toulouse” from May 25 to June 7, in collaboration with various players in the city’s playful culture. On the program, a multitude of fun and friendly activities for all ages, spread across different locations.
Participants will thus have the opportunity to discover or rediscover the pleasure of gaming through varied activities such as giant wooden games, exhibitions on video games as a cultural object, cooperative games, escape games, chess tournaments, role-playing workshops, conferences and much more. The events will take place in libraries, media libraries, game libraries, cultural centers and even in bookmobiles.

The Luluberlu festival, this weekend in Odyssud

The theater welcomes show enthusiasts for three days in Blagnac. The Luluberlu festival, taking place from Friday May 24 to Sunday May 26, is back for its 16the editing. And for the occasion, the public is invited to an exploration of the cosmic universe. With more than 50 shows and workshops, indoors and outdoors, you will have a rich and varied choice of contemporary artistic creation. On the program, a diversity of artistic forms such as concerts, circus shows, puppets, object theater, dance, clowning, and many other surprises.
The festival welcomes young and old in different spaces, such as Odyssud, in its park, or at the Salle des Fêtes, at the Petit Théâtre Saint-Exupère, as well as in the partner rooms: L’Aria and Salle Nougaro. Finally, over the three days of festivities, visitors will also be able to immerse themselves in the creative and strange world of scenographer MarieGriFF, come across fantastical creatures during the burlesque show “Surcouf!”, or even attend the air show “Gagarine is not dead” proposed by the companies Les Sanglés and En corps en l’air.
