A national Arab music competition for musicians – Today Morocco

As part of its participation in the Egyptian Opera Arabic Music Festival, the Crescendo Association is organizing a national competition for talented musicians from Morocco. This competition aims to identify the best string instrumentalists in the country and offer them the opportunity to perform on the international stage.

Open to all Moroccan musicians, this competition will take place from May 27 to June 2, 2024 at the Mohammed Zefzaf Cultural Complex in Casablanca. The candidates will be evaluated by a jury composed of luminaries of Moroccan music and representatives of Egyptian opera. The best among them will be selected to participate in the gala concert which will follow the elimination phase. This initiative is part of an exceptional partnership between the Crescendo Association and the Arab Music Festival. It aims to promote the richness and diversity of Moroccan music on the international scene and to strengthen cultural ties between Morocco and Egypt.

To note, the Crescendo Association is chaired by the artist Aicha Boudahij Nour Elhoda. It is an association that has been working for more than 26 years to promote culture and the arts in Morocco. It regularly organizes concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events and actively supports local artists.
