Four visits to the workshops of the Plasticiens Volants company are planned over the 2 days. Visitors will be able to discover, in a former tavern, the monumental inflatable structures that travel around the world, a unique opportunity to interact with manipulative artists and actors. At the Maison des Métiers du Cuir, there will be guided tours of the museum space, an immersion in the tanning trades and discovery of the stages of the river, attic and leatherwork. Creative workshops from 8 years old will be led by Iza Bouvier. After discovering the fascinating world of leather, come and cut, mark and assemble leather during creative workshops: making a key ring or a garland that you will take home as a souvenir.
October 23 and 24. at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. At the Darius Fabre showroom at 11 a.m., you will be able to ask questions during “Testimonials of tampers”. Then at the town hall there will be historic factory panels, classified as Historic Monuments, learn more about these works from the end of the 19th century which made the reputation of the French capital of leather, at 4 p.m.
