Come discover the joys of motherhood! The TF1 group’s Baby Boom show set up its cameras at the CHU Charles-Nicolle from Rouen (Seine-Maritime) in May and June 2023. The first episode of this new season is broadcast this Wednesday, May 22, 2024on the chain TFX.

Baby Boom at the Rouen maternity ward

Since 2011, this docu-reality show has followed daily life in different French maternity wards. Baby Boom’s cameras notably filmed the hospitals of Poissy, Montreuil, Saint-Joseph in Marseilleor even Villeneuve-Saint-Georges.

At the end of last spring, just before the Armada (which does not cause a peak in births in the maternity ward), it was therefore at the Rouen University Hospital that Baby Boom brought “60 cameras which followed, day after day, the journey of these Rouen families by offering a unique testimony from mothers and fathers until the magical moment of giving birth to their child,” we can read on the program’s official Facebook page.

We will therefore be able to follow several families: those of Causette and Jérémy, Laura and Ariel, Kie and Jason, Mélanie and Raphaël and Sarah and Matthieu. The show will be broadcast at 9:05 p.m. on TFX and will be available for free in replay on TF1+.

As a reminder, each year, these are between 2500 and 3000 deliveries which take place at the Rouen University Hospital.
