CINEMA – What does the cinematic vintage look like for this 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, chaired by Greta Gerwig? Does the shadow of #MeToo continue to hang over the Croisette? HuffPost, present on site since the opening of the festivities, answered all your questions during an hour live on TikTok, this Sunday, May 19.

Loïse Delacotte, head of the Culture & Entertainment department of HuffPost, and Valentin Etancelin, Culture journalist, were live from the Palais des Festivals to tell you behind the scenes of the fortnight of cinema. From the legendary stepladder gang, still present this year, to the stars to watch out for on the red carpet, they shared their anecdotes from the festival under the Cannes sun.

You can watch the entire live in the video at the top of the articleand follow the TikTok account of HuffPost to continue following our coverage of the festival on site.

The failure of the last Coppola, the breathtaking final part of the saga Mad Maxthe astonishing new anthology by Yórgos Lánthimos… Our opinions on the films that we have seen since the opening, whether we liked them or not, can be found on our site.

And as Cannes would be nothing without its glamor and its red carpets, take a look in images at some of the most striking steps of this edition, like that of Judith Godrèche alongside her daughter, hands on their mouth, a strong gesture echoing the silence around sexual violence.
