As the 2023-2024 school year ends, the classes having participated for almost a year in the “To the arts high school students and apprentices!” », organized by the regional council, can finally discover the works in which they took part.

It began on Thursday, May 16, when the fifteen students from the first class of CAP fashion professions at the Sonia-Delaunay high school were received at the grain market. “We worked on an audio format with Lélio Plotton, from the Léla company based in Bourges, via the Halle aux grains, explains Frédérique Bonneville, librarian professor and cultural referent at the establishment who has been participating in the operation for twelve years. Each student had to choose a designer and an iconic outfit, then write a text expressed on the microphone to explain their choice. »

“Next year, we will continue this project by proposing a transposition of these outfits to be made from recycled elements”adds Sylvia Lapara, professor of applied arts.

Emma had chosen the Mondrian dress from Saint-Laurent; Maéline opted for Coco Chanel’s little black dress. In the end, they were satisfied with the result. “It wasn’t necessarily easy, we had to redo the recordings several times. It’s also difficult to hear his voice”confess the young girls.

The work of Delaunay’s students will be visible in the entrance to the grain market until May 25, as part of the Youth Hall. “There is also a video and digital installation designed by a class from the Notre-Dames des Aydes high school, produced with the company 1.01, on the subject of emotions; we also participated in a third project with the hotel high school and the Bim collective, an in situ creation which will be presented twice in the establishment”specifies Aurélie Malter, responsible for monitoring audiences at the HAG.

Other cultural structures also participated in the regional operation, which allows each year to carry out nearly 150 projects in Center-Val de Loire.
