The Minister of Culture Rachida Dati announced, this Saturday, May 18, the obligation of a “child manager” on all film sets from this summer, at the request of actress Judith Godrèche.

Judith Godrèche’s requests were heard. The actress and director called, last March, for the creation of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into labor law in the world of cinema and “the risks for children”. His grievances will be put in place this summer.

The Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, affirmed, this Saturday, May 18 at the Cannes Film Festival, the compulsory presence of a “child manager” on filming with minors. Otherwise, the film will not be able to receive a subsidy. “This will be a condition of access to aid from the CNC”, the National Center for Cinematography, specified Rachida Dati according to France Info.

“We hope it’s not opportunistic”

However, the actress who initiated this request is a little mixed. The contours of the measure are still vague, and the response to the problem was addressed very quickly.
