2024 is a Nougaro year. On the occasion of the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the singer’s death, the city of Toulouse welcomes and organizes numerous events: concerts, exhibitions and even literary events.
With the project “To each their own Nougaro”Joël Saurin is totally committed to this approach of homage. On stage, he brings together Bernard Lubat and André Minvielle, who shared the stage with Claude Nougaro, but also Louis Lubat, Fabrice Vieira, and Serge Pey. He comes to present to us this musical event, which already sold out October 18 at The Cabinthe new performance hall at Les Halles de La Cartoucherie. Beyond his respect and love for the music of the Toulouse poet, it is also the opportunity to reminisce with him about his memories as bassist of the group Zebda.

An exhibition of Nougaro vinyl covers with France Bleu Occitanie
Radio France has reproduced the covers of all Nougaro albums as well as his emblematic 45s. They rub shoulders, in this double exhibition, with photos, manuscripts and drawings lent by Hélène Nougaro, his last wife.
