This is the great story of the day. Serge, a 20-year-old Swiss photographer, recently moved the internet by sharing his feeling of loneliness on TikTok. Freshly arrived in Paris, he published a video last Wednesday in which he admitted to feeling isolated and helpless in this unknown city. “I don’t know how to make friends anymore, it’s horrible. I miss being little,” he confided in this sequence relayed by BFMTV Île-de-France.
Millions of views
A sincere and touching testimony which moved many Internet users. In the space of one night, his video exceeded a million views and received more than 5,000 comments, the vast majority of which were sympathetic.
“When I woke up, I wanted to delete the video, telling myself that people were going to make fun of me,” said the young man. An idea that he quickly gave up on seeing the enthusiasm generated by his testimony, which has more than two million views to date.

“The love I received is incredible”
With this support, the Swiss student published a new video the next day. We can see him all smiles thanking the people who contacted him. Through a third video, he then organized a meeting in the streets of Paris. An initiative which allowed him to bring together around sixty people in front of the Louvre this Saturday.
For Serge, this meeting exceeded all his expectations: “I didn’t expect anything when I went there with my headphones. When a wave of people came to meet me, I realized that people had really come. » And to conclude with our colleagues, not without emotion: “The real message is that social networks are not only malicious. The love I have received is incredible. »
