After announcing her separation from singer Joe Jonas, actress Sophie Turner was hosted by the latter’s ex; none other than Taylor Swift.

“Taylor has been a hero for me this year,” said the actress. Game Of Thrones in the pages of British Vogue, for whom she poses on the cover of the June issue.

On her return to the United States, after the announcement of her separation from the father of her children, the actress, who was filming the series in the United Kingdom Joanfound herself in the Big Apple without housing.

She therefore contacted Taylor Swift in the hope that the singer would recommend a landlord. Without hesitation, the singer opened the doors of her house to her and hosted her and her daughters, free of charge, at her home. “I have never been more grateful to anyone than to her, because she took my children and me and gave us a home and a safe space,” the British actress told Vogue magazine. “She truly has a heart of gold.”

The two women had known each other for about a decade. But the actress X-Men did not feel capable of cultivating her friendship with the pop star, knowing that the interpreter of Cruel Summer and her husband had briefly dated almost 10 years previously.

Their relationship would have ended with a 27-second phone call and would have inspired the singer-songwriter to write the song Forever & Alwayspublished on Fearless.

Back to his divorce

Last September, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner mutually decided to end their marriage, reaching an amicable agreement.

Rumors, according to which she had somehow fled her maternal responsibilities, then proliferated in the tabloids, while the actress was held in England for the filming of the series Joaninspired by the story of the famous jewel thief Joan Hannington.

“Those were the worst days of my life. […] I remember I had a contract and I had to stay on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My children were in the United States and I couldn’t join them because I had to finish Joan. And all these articles started to appear…”, described the actress in the pages of the magazine Vogue.

Sophie Turner also discusses motherhood in the article and how it helped her get back on top of her eating disorders.

“To be honest, having children was the best thing for my relationship with my body,” she said.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got married in 2019. They welcomed their first daughter, Willa, in July 2020, and their second, Delphine, in July 2022.
