The Loire-Atlantique department has invested 50 million euros in the project. “This museum is first and foremost a public service,” explains the president of the department. “We want to ensure that all those who are far from culture can have access to it,” adds Michel Ménard who hopes to see residents from all the communes of Loire-Atlantique come to the Dobrée museum in Nantes.
