This skirt popular in the 2000s that we didn’t think we’d see again will soon be everywhere

After the ballerinas which made their comeback a few months ago, it’s the turn of another icon to return to our wardrobes. Every year and even every season, we see pieces from our childhood/adolescence gain popularity again. Sometimes adored, sometimes hated (like ballerinas), fashionistas are adopting them again.

With the sunny days coming, the desire to wear lighter outfits arises. Dresses, skirts and linen sets are finally coming out of the closet after months spent locked up.

If you want to be on trend, you’ll have to choose a puffy skirt. You don’t remember it anymore? These are these very flared skirts that are a bit reminiscent of a ballerina tutu.

Spotted on the Jacquemus show at Fashion Week under the name “Le Chouchou”, it seems that it is very popular today. In a slightly more mini version than in the 2000s, we wear it with a crop top, a denim jacket and sneakers for a look worthy of that era.
