New York, New York… The heart of the Images Vevey biennial has capsized for the legendary “crossroads of the world” of Times Square. The demonstration, including the 9e edition is held this year from September 7 to 29, infiltrates the forest with giant light panels and achieves a nice communication stunt in collaboration with Suisse Tourisme and Montreux-Vevey Tourisme.

Since Monday, May 13 and until May 19, the festival displays a screen almost 18 stories high to present the images of the prestigious photographer Paul Graham. Images taken 20 years ago in Times Square. The Briton’s “Sightless” series captured passers-by with their eyes closed, absorbed in their thoughts, foreign to the animation they were passing through.

With this project, faithful to its reputation for working outdoors, with often monumental works that seek the adequacy between the work and the place, Images Vevey stands out far and wide while announcing the theme of its future edition: “ (dis)connected. Between past and future. On this occasion, Paul Graham’s photographs will cross the Atlantic to be registered in the city of Vevey.
