In this small Breton town, the owner of the only business has launched a rock festival

At Baïona, the only business in the town of 1,000 inhabitants, the customers have their habits. And when the weather is grim like today, we’re even less likely to deviate from a little café sheltered from the bar-tabac-restaurant. Quentin Knockaert, 33, took over the store five years ago.

The thirty-year-old, who came from the North, however, had no ties before arriving in the town. Since then, he has created Rock’n Fées, a festival which is starting to become known.

Born near Lille, Quentin Knockaert moved to Brittany (Baud in Morbihan) as a teenager. “Good at school”, the thirty-year-old, who still has ants in his legs, nevertheless has difficulty holding still. He needs to move, to undertake, “to do things” he admits.

It’s difficult for him to fit into the school mold. This is why he joined Quiberon at the age of 17….
