After punk, indie-rock, synth-pop, pop divisions and scholarly music, Rank-O plays the music according to all that. Rather than trying to recreate the strong moments of the past, the quartet relies on the shoulders of its spiritual fathers to build its own path, oriented towards the future, which we call rock with guitars.

Rank-O also cultivates a sincere love for pop songs and immediate melodies. De Novothe group’s first album, is a new creative stage for Rank-O. These new songs have been lurking on stage for some time before being captured. We find the main lines of Rank-O’s musical signature with increased energy and more powerful production.

El Ayacha in the first part

Rank-O is one of those groups that fully embraces taking side roads. It is through his inventiveness and his assumed extremism that he manages to take today’s music off its hinges and its clichés to invent a world of his own, totally personal, which we delight in. to visit again and again.

The first part of this evening scheduled for this Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Halle 901 in Saint-Pierre-Église (Manche) will be performed by the rock group El Ayacha.

Direct and soberly arranged pieces, surrounded by diffuse and sharp guitars at the same time, sitting on solid melodic bass lines, the pieces of Caennais Pierre Dennebouy, to be published in a first album in springreveal the intimate and the quest for meaning for the world around us.
