On the square in front of the Émeraude room, in Locoal-Mendon (Morbihan), they train in a great excitement, this Friday evening 2024. All are under 20 years old. The atmosphere ? “Joyful, serious and friendly”, appreciates Martin Lacoult, 14 years old, young bell ringer from Plougastel (Finistère). In a few minutes, they will participate in their respective categories at the 36e edition of the Roñsed-Mor Trophy, organized Friday May 10 and Saturday May 11, 2024 by the bagad which is celebrating its 55th anniversary.

“A great edition with 230 competitors compared to nearly 200 last year,” rejoices Frédéric Pennamen, president of Roñsed-Mor. Among these participants, while the Interceltic Festival of Lorient (Fil) will also honor Celtic youth this summer, young people were not left out in Locoal-Mendon.
