Restaurant life in the city has probably never been so intense.

Established for 14 years on avenue Besnardière, referenced by the Michelin guide, the bistronomic restaurant Le Pois gourmand, by Guillaume Réveillard, closed on February 16. The establishment of chef François-Xavier Gohard will reinvent itself in a few weeks in Ponts-de-Cé.

After a break of almost four years following the sale of the semi-gastronomic restaurant Ma Campagne which he held for 20 years, Promenade de Reculée, the Martin couple, Emmanuel and Sylvie, opened a creperie at the Place du Pois gourmand, avenue Besnardière.

Sixteen months after its closure in the hyper-center, Angevin chef Rémi Fournier reopens a more intimate but still bistronomic Chez Rémi, at 168, rue de Frémur. It will be the 3e Chez Rémi after the original, boulevard Foch, then the second rue des Deux-Haies where Maison Paganelli is located.

Croccante succeeds Mail Family

Rue du Mail, Charlotte, Justine and Clémentine Gabory have lowered the curtain on Mail Family, their “vegetarian” restaurant opening in spring 2022. Croccante, an establishment dedicated to pizza and Italian street food designed by Ewelina Pomykacz – Balint and Roland Balint will succeed him around May 25.

Rue Parcheminerie, Élise Rabineau and Julian Sanchez have just opened Lela, a pizzeria like in Naples which gives pride of place to sourdough, Italian products and natural wine. Lela took the place of Corner Crêp, the small creperie opened by Elsa Jeffard, in 2019.

At the corner of rue du Mail and rue Thiers, the restaurant Le Temps Recovered ended its service at the end of April after ten years of existence under the direction of Nadine David and the cuisine of Ninghao Terrien known as Nini. The establishment, which retains its name, is taken over by Marguerite and Christophe Coupry who ran the restaurant Le Chineur gourmand, in Paris.

Rue Hoche, the Houssay couple served the last customers of the famous Lucullus on April 12, which they opened on June 13, 1992. The restaurant is taken over.

IKI dethrones Ty Yann

Chef Michaël Pankar has opened IKI, a restaurant dedicated to high-end sushi in the renovated premises of the famous Ty Yann creperie, rue Desjardins.
