The Algerian Cultural Center (CCA) is pleased to inform you of the job offer for young people: “Cyber ​​Journalist” for a total duration of seven weeks starting the penultimate week of May, for 35 hours per week.
The work will be done at the CCA headquarters at 2348 Jean-Talon Est, Suite 307, near the D’Iberville Metro station. The position is offered under the Canada Summer Jobs 2024 program.

Here are the details of the offer:
Position: Cyber ​​journalist
The role of the “Cyber ​​journalist” mainly consists of carrying out various multimedia creation projects, video editing, Web, etc., website management and social networks.
Requirements:
* Be over 15 years old and a maximum of 30 years old (inclusive) at the start of employment; * Follow or have followed a post-secondary, CEGEP (Quebec only), university, professional or technical program in the field of communication or any related field; * Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; * Have a valid social insurance number (SIN).
Skills and Abilities
* Good knowledge of video and infographic editing tools is required, * Being familiar with communication on social networks, * Experience in the field of community work acquired through volunteer activities or as part of academic work is very desirable, * Be results-oriented, * Developed initiative and team spirit, * Sense of creativity, * Responsible and autonomous, * Good command of the written and spoken French language, * Be able to coordinate several activities.
Main tasks :
* Produce audiovisual productions intended for the organization’s customers. * Film the organization’s activities and comment on them and broadcast them on the Internet and social networks. * Produce information capsules. * Conduct opinion polls on topics that affect the community. * Carry out some administrative tasks. * Write reports.
Remuneration:
The position is offered under the Canada Summer Jobs program. The remuneration is $17.00 per hour.
